[Trombone-l] Equipment Question and Euphonium - now fake notes

My 4-valve CC Conn 3J tuba has a great series of false tones: 

open F
2 E
1 E flat
1+2 D (this is where I really start to use them)
2+3 D flat
4 C

In particular, I found the false tone pedal C to be great for the soft low C's near the end of Lion King - much easier for me to control than the open pedal at that dynamic.

I played next to a tuba player who occasionally played a three valve 
compensating Besson C tuba, and would sometimes fake low F's - so same 
interval.
