I'll second this recommendation. We have had 3 different 321's altered
between the members of my section here. Two had the leadpipe switched
over, while one just had the receiver changed. That horn plays pretty
well, except that playing softly is very difficult. The other two didn't
have that problem, and played better than they did before the "surgery".
I sold my beat-up 321 with a new leadpipe a year ago, and invested in a
used 642S - nice horn.
