I had good success for awhile putting my gig bag inside a golf trunk.  
Except when I got met, in Europe, by someone with a  car too small  
for the golf trunk!

for shipping) Universal pro-tenor trombone case accommodates almost  
all F-attachment horns, large & small bore with up to a 9" bell.  
Exterior has inset 10" accessory pouch; interior compartment also.  
Engineered for open and traditional-wrap f-attachment tenors. TOUGH!  
Lightly used, only one crunched foot. Very good protection. All  
latches, handle and hinges fine. 2 rings for possible shoulder strap,  
not incl. Opens 180 deg to a stable flat-open position. See it at

35" long, 14" max height. Interior 31" for open wraps, 6" wide.  
Probably not for bass trombones or double-valves. No case does it all
