[Trombone-l] New Brass Quintet Christmas Arrangement

I know it is July, but I have recently completed an arrangement of  
Angels We Have Heard On High/ Ding Dong Merrily On High for brass  
quintet and it is never too early to start thinking about music for  
Christmas. This arrangement combines these two carols by alternate  
phrases from each and by having sections of the carols occur  
simultaneously. There are also free sections of imitative  
counterpoint interspersed. All this occurs over a syncopated ostinato  
rhythm that has the eight eighth notes of the 4/4 measure grouped as  
3,3,2 resulting in a very festive arrangements for concert or church  
prelude use. Duration: 3:00  $8.00

Characteristic Dances and the Waltz of the Flowers. Perfect for the  
holiday season or anytime of year. There are two versions of the  
Chinese Dance, one in Bb that is true to Tchaikovsky and one in F  
that is simplified. There are also two versions of the Dance of the  
Flutes, one where the two trumpets and horn play the solo flute parts  
and one where the horn, trombone, and tuba play the solo flute parts.
