[Trombone-l] Sunburn ..please share your remedies.

Growing up in Miami in an era when "Sunshine is GOOD for you" and PABA had
not yet found its way into "Suntan Lotions" sunburn was not unusual. Noxema
and tea bags were the standard treatment for over exposure. 57 years later I
haven't found anything better for ease of pain; however, I have learned to
stay out of the sun. I'm getting tired of supporting my dermatologist in a
life style to which I would like to become accustomed!
A good preventative preparation for the lips is "Dermatone" which is
available at outdoor sport supply stores. It has an SPF of 23 and is good
for chapped lips also.
