[Trombone-l] Help! A question for everyone.

I have used the same Pan American 'bone since 1947.  Four years ago, I put it 
in the closet as it needs some slide work and some resoldering.  Essentially 
it is worn out.

The pitch has not changed, and I have had mouth surgery, teeth removed etc 
and etc.

Other factors may cause the rise in pitch, but I do not think the horn is the 
problem.
