I am sure your student could get a slide from former list-member and 
trombone seller---Donald Kennedy, better known to all, as just "dj". dj is a 
mass seller of used, mainly small-bore, trombones and is very reputable, 
with clients all over the trombone-world. dj lives in Chester IL.
