[Trombone-l] David with band

Hi Jeff,

The Yeago is a solid arrangement and is far and away the more popular of the two (at least at this store). And, it's scored the way you likely expect it to be, especially if you are familiar with the Lindberg orchestra version on his CD "Romantic Trombone Concertos." I have no experience with the Mortimer, so I can't compare for you. Hope this helps!

I see Hickey's lists two different band arrangements of the David
Concertino. One by Mortimer and one by Yeago. Does anyone have any
experience with either arrangement? Can anyone recommend one or the other
or suggest a better third option?

  Thanks,
  Jeff
