The bass trombonist in this Woody video is none other than Dayton Jazz
Orchestra co-leader and 2nd trombonist, arranger, Vaughn Wiester. Vaughn is
also the leader of the very famous Famous Jazz Orchestra, based out of Music
Hall, in Columbus OH. I think Vaughn said the other players might have been
Jim Pugh and Dale Kirkland, on this particular video.
How about Vaughn's bass bone solo on the last two notes of the chart?
