[Trombone-l] choice between horns

I’d get the one, which had been run over by a bus.  No, really, I only buy 
scrunched trombones on ebay: Then I fix them up.  Since I like fixing 
trombones, buying a fixed-up trombone would be pointless, unless I wanted to 
play it.

You don’t seem to want to play this trombone, or maybe it’s for a promising 
beginner?  You don’t care if the bore is 0.500” or 0.507”.  You don’t care 
if the bell is rose or yellow.  Yamaha makes a great machine, but does it 
sound the way you want a trombone to sound?  To get that information, you 
either need to play it or you need to have dozens of trombones, in your 
basement, to grab different parts off of.    8?)
