[Trombone-l] choice between horns

The YSL 651 is a .500" horn and the YSL 691 is a .509" horn, I 
believe. I'd personally go w/ the 691, because it is the result of 
more advanced and recent acoustic and constructional research. The 
691 replaced the 651, just in case you're not aware of this. I'm 
not saying that "newer" is always better, but I certainly think 
that this particular case fits that generalization. It really 
comes down to what sound you want. The .509 will give you a 
slightly bigger sound. I'd pick this one if it were up to me. Good
