[Trombone-l] Bag work and Lassus

I know a few bags working, but down here we call 'em 'sacks'.

Anything that gets young kids interested in trombone is great by me. I've
played in quintets for kids and have played that tune, and the kids ALWAYS
love it. The trombone quartet I played in out at Aspen Music Festival
played an arrangement for intermission fanfare, and the crowd there loved it
as well, and most of those people are seasoned listeners!

Dolly moved to New Jersey about three years ago. Her two sons (trumpet,
sax) wanted to be near NY to play, she figured she could get bag work
(that sounds funny) up there.

“Bag work” sounds funny?

What about naming her two sons “(trumpet" and "sax)”?
