[Trombone-l] Band Directors-Help needed

In making up a program for the Associate of Arts degree, recently I have 
added four courses
to the program

Harmony
Theory
Compositation
Directing.

These unlikely subjects for an Institute, should be present in the course work
for High School, but as you are aware they are in line or have been already 
axed from
the curriculum.  I encountered this short changing when an Oxford Prof, 
explained to me many years ago, the lapses that ate into High School programs, 
leaving the student unready for college.
