[Trombone-l] Alex Iles in Auburn, WA

Hi all,

I will the guest soloist with the Auburn High Jazz Band at the  Jazz 
Invitational Festival evening concert on March 3. Anyone from up in 
that area probably knows more about the exact location and times than I 
do at this point. All I know is that they are picking me up from the 
Seattle airport early Saturday morning and taking me back to the 
airport on Sunday. What happens in between is up to them!! I know that 
I will be giving a masterclass/clinic on brass/instrumental stuff in 
the morning and one on improvisation in the afternoon and then playing 
with the band that night.That's a big trombone weekend around Seattle. 
Trombonology is happening at the University of Washington [Mike Davis 
and Ralph Sauer are featured there!!]. I was going to try to make it 
out there Sunday morning for a minute before my flight leaves.

Come out and say hi if you know you'll be around!!

Should be a fun hang!! If you come to one of the clinics, BRING YOUR 
HORN!!
