Just received this e-mail from a friend.

"Bad news: Eldee Young left the planet about 4:30 pm CST today, February 12. 
He had a heart attack in his hotel room in Bangkok. This was sudden and 
without warning (just like his friend Ray Brown). I believe that he was 72."

You may remember Eldee from his many appearances and recordings as the 
bassist with the Ramsey Lewis Trio. A great player and a big loss.
