You just summed up the entire Bebop genre! #;-)

I've always held that bebop was not a spectator's sport!  Doesn't mean 
you won't get as much out of it. But the true "art" of bebop is the 
communication between the players on the stage. 90% of which blows 
right by the crowd. However, we're still glad they showed & paid their 
2-drink minimum.
