[Trombone-l] Scam tutoring email

It's one one of us gets to _experience_ about every 6 months or so. I
have a friend that adverts for guitar lessons on craigslist. He says
every time he updates his listing he gets about 4-6 of these
"proposals". Very frustrating.

...but easier/less stressful just to hit the delete-key.

A good reporting mech. for most of these is Snopes.com. This one's a
little harder because it's a bit more obscure. But basically whenever I
get one of these, I grab a couple key words (or words I think are
prominent) in the message and search for them on Snopes.com. I'd say
+/-90% of the time, some info comes back on it. And it's never good.

Cheers!
