Speaking of Florida players, how about Herb 'Frankie 2' Bruce? His CD has
some really fine and enjoyable playing.

Subject: [Trombone-l] My Favorite Players
It's tough to list ALL my favorites --- I keep hearing someone new to me and
saying ----"What gresat stuff!"
Teagarden , Dorsey, Dickenson, Green, Fontana, Watrous -- all fabulous
players.
4 of A Kind may be my favorite CD.
How 'bout that Abe Lincoln?
I loved the punch of Eddie Hubble, with the World's Greatest.
There are 2 Florida players i greatly admire --- John Allred (now of NY
City), and Greg Nielsen of Sarasota. They both play many styles with grace,
polish, and enthusiasm.
