Mark;

Ellington's "Grand Slam Jam" was initially called "Non-Violent Integration" 
according to Ellington researchers. As such, Ellington recorded it once with 
a symphonic group. I have this recording on a Stanyan LP "Ellington For 
Always". The music is still available on CD and there is a short clip of it
