Jeff is correct.
Terry chronicles his day with Frank in Terry's Toronto shop not long before
Frank's premature and untimely demise. The original 'Rosolino 1' is a ~15C.
Terry later extrapolated this into a ~12C and ~11C versions, noted as
Rosolino 2 & 3, respectively.

I have a Rosolino 2 for sale if anyone is interested...

Happy New Year and Prosperous gigging, all.

I remember seeing a thing on the Warburton website about Terry having
copied Frank's mouthpiece, and possibly having them available for
sale. As I recall it was really small, like 15-ish. All I could find
online now is this: http://warburtonstore.com/frromo.html

It's nice to hear some corroboration of that story. I met Bobby
Knight (the trombone one, not the basketball one) in a club in the
French Quarter years ago, and he told me that story. He said Carl
knew that he would call SUTB as soon as he walked in late, so he was
buzzing his mouthpiece in the cab. Bobby added that Ray brown was on
bass, and had not rehearsed with the band, as he said, "are YOU gonna
tell Ray Brown he can't do the gig if he doesn't make rehearsal?" He
said Carl's break was so astounding that it threw Ray a bit. I don't
know, I wasn't there, but it made for a good story.
