[Trombone-l] My Funny Valentine - Plug

OK, it’s my turn for a plug.  I just received the
copyright clearance to publish my low brass quartet
arrangement of “My Funny Valentine” so I thought I’d
let everyone know about it.  It also has an optional
string orchestra accompaniment and works well with or
without the strings.

The instrumentation is two tenor trombones, bass
trombone & tuba.  However, a variety of low brass
instruments will work well (3 tenor trombones & bass
bone, euphoniums, etc.)  The audio on my web site is
two euphoniums, two tubas with string orchestra.

Anyway, it’s a great opportunity for your orchestra
low brass section to get out in front of the
orchestra.  It’s my small way of turning the tables on
the strings for once.
