[Trombone-l] Mouthopieces

Hi Gang...this mouthpiece issue is getting lots of traffic, and now has me  
thinking I might be missing something staying with my Bach 7C (paired my Bach 
16  Strad small bore horn.)
 
I am playing in several different venues every week, from big band lead, to  
dixieland, to concert band to church work.Happy with my tone and range, but 
all  this conversation has me wondering if I should try a Bach 6 1/2...What 
possible  difference might the  Bach 6 1/2 make from the Bach 7?  Thoughts  from 
the experts???
 
I started with a Bach 15C in the early (covered wagon) days,   went to a 12 
C, and then when I resumed playing after a 35 yr layoff, decided to  try the 
Bach 7..Even had P. Stork make me a shallow cup mouthpiece  a few  yrs ago, but 
my tone suffered  with it...
