[Trombone-l] Duet Suggestions

Fellow Listers;


          I will be visiting a friend soon and we had thought to do a little
street performing as a duet.  I was thinging that the usual Bone duet fare
might not be as commercially palatable to the "great unwashed" as would some
more popular tunes.  As rehearsal time will be limited - or more probably
non existant - I was thinking relatively "easy" would be better also.  Its
been my experience with Brass Quartet that most non musicians seem to
appreciate the less sophisticated arrangement more than some artistically
deep and virtuosic piece.

         So I come to the list for suggestions.  Y'all got any ideas of
fairly popular "late model" tunes in reasonably non challenging
arrangements?  I should mention that each of the two intended principals are
reasonably competent amatuers  who freelance regulary.  I'd appreciate any
suggestions - well musical suggestions anyway.
