I have the "Flounder Pitch" software. Good for avoiding that trap of
playing under the pitch in order to achieve a dark sound.

Not really related but funny:
There's a free widget for Mac OS X called "Tuna Pitch". It is a
chromatic tuner for your Mac working off your internal or USB
microphone. It's designed for guitar, but can auto-tune chromatically.
