[Trombone-l] Jazz Cruises?

warrenhillcruse(dot)com has a "Smooth Jazz Cruise" coming up in  
January leaving from Ft. Lauderdale.

There's also JazzTrax radio does a concert series on Catalina Island  
off L.A. that gets many of the same Smooth Jazz performers.

I only no about them 'cuz on the last ship I worked, Tom Scott came  
on for a "jazz trax" cruise and ended up sitting in with the  
headliner show, Ben Vereen for two shows.

It was good to hang with him for a day and split a bottle of his  
favorite (JD). He handed me an autographed copy of his latest CD 2  
weeks before it hit the streets.
