[Trombone-l] JJ's horn.

Years ago, I walked into Larry Minick's shop. Right on the counter was a
Conn 71H with a 12" bell. Yes TWELVE INCHES. Apparently, Larry had taken a
bell off a Conn 6D french horn and soldered that sucker to the end of the
71. I asked him, "What the hell is that?" His answer was simple and oh so
typical of him, "If bigger is better, mine's the best." Rumor had it JJ
ended up with that horn.

Any info on this?
