Hi Listers,
I know that we are supposed to stick to music and trombone-related subjects
here on the old Trombone-L, but I was so impressed with the following, that
I thought it would be good to share it with y'all.
I saw this YouTube video the other night on the TV news. This film was even
written about in the Chicago Tribune's editorial page. It is one of the most
incredible wild-life film clips that I have ever seen. Professional wildlife
photographers sit around for months at a time, sometimes years, and never
have the luck that this man had. He was just in the right place at the right
time. He had used his amateur video camera about twice before in his life.
He barely knew which button to push to turn it on, yet he took one of the
most incredible pieces of film that I have ever seen.
If you have 8 minutes and 23 seconds, have a look at this, and see if you
don't agree that this man's vacation video, taken in South Africa's Kruger
National Park, is truly one of a kind. An epic in 8 minutes of attack,
defense, and survival.
