Previous discussion about mouothpieces for Al;to trombone, have run the gamut
of 11-12E- 7c and etc.

One contribution involved a person who had removed a mouthpiece from a
baritone horn
to use on an alto and found it quite acceptable, but could not remember what
it was.

I use a mouthpiece from a baritone horn that I played years ago, and found it
works well
with tenor peashooters.

It is a Bel-Aire 44 E. Some folks on this net have indicated that Frank
Rosilino used this
same mouthpiece, and possibly one of those manufactured as a Frank Rosilino
accomadatoin piece, might be closed to that.

If an Alto bark is needed expecially above F above the bass cleff staff, that
particular
mouthpiece is very accomodating. It is also quite adept at producing that
"ruby hot liquid sound" all the way down to F below the Bass cleff staff.
