I just want to let everyone in the New York City area know about the
upcoming concert by the Hora Decima Brass Ensemble:
Next Sunday 4/22 at 7PM at
Christ & St. Stephen's Church
120 West 69th St (bet. Bway & Columbus)
Manhattan
Admission by contribution $15 requested)

The concert will feature the world premier of "Eclectix for Brass Choir
& Percussion" by John Cheetham (a Hora Decima Commission).  Other works
by Bernstein, Byrd, Copland, Gabrieli, Koetsier, Purcell, Reed, and
Shostakovich.

The low brass players are Bob Suttmann and Brad Ward on tenor trb, Jeff
Nelson on bass trb, Terry Pierce on euphonium, and Morris Kainuma & Dan
Peck on tuba.  We will also have 5 trumpets, 4 horns, and 3 percussion
players.

Come on out to hear this great group.  The sound of 18 brass &
percussion players is really quite amazing!!
