Alex,

Thanks for passing the word on what sounds like a GREAT opportunity.  If had half the talent that I thought I had, and the bucks, I would be there will bells on, perhaps as one of the oldest students on the planet.

Incidentally, a great sounding solo on "I'm Old Fashioned"  cut on the new Bob Florence CD,  Eternal Licks & Grooves.  I just got it yesterday, and have almost burned a hole in it already.

What a gas it must be to be a part of an outstanding Big Band.

California State University Northridge's Summer Jazz Camp, featuring  
Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band will be held from July 30-August 4.

It is open to all musicians age 14 and up. They are presently short  
on trombones. If you have been considering going, sign up now!

The whole band will be on the faculty!

The whole week [including room and board] costs $850.00.
