Dan, that particular injury can be slow to heal. I have had some good
results using this technology:
http://www.norstarbiomagnetics.com/biomag.htm
I appreciate that some might see it as a bit new age, but there is a fair
amount of research on the link between magnetic resonance and cell health
and in practice, i have had an injury not unlike the one you describe for
about four months with no improvement. I had one of these magnets in the
drawer and stuck it on and had a 50 - 60 percent improvement in 48-hours.
It's still there after another two weeks but continues to improve. I
thought the thing had done it's work and took it off a week or so ago only
to be amazed to have the pain come back within 12-hours. Put it back on and
I'm back to where I was and improvement continues.
For a few bucks/quid, whether it's in my head or in my shoulder, the thing
seems to do what they say it will.
Once fully recovered, some light dumbbells and rotator cuff exercises for
me!
Hope that's of some use.
Warm regards from sunny England
