Well, even bass trombonists should enjoy playing the ballads on the
Aebersold albums, and the bossa novas.
So it'd seem to me. No?
And the tuner hears REAL well in the bass range.
And there is the Lebedev (some version at least)
And the Vaughan Williams tuba, all of it.
And the Bordogni vocalises in any key you want, with piano accomps.
But, to be sure, I don't wrestle with bass bone. But my BTbn students
liked it (so they said).
Say, I've just listed my ALTO (the infamous Bach I once played at
Nashville Jazz Night) on eBay.
It is in great shape. It is not new, though.
