[Trombone-l] Charlie Vernon

Last night I had the opportunity to hear Mr. Vernon play Christian
Lindberg's new
work written for him to play with the Chicago Symphony. It was an incredible
performance
I thought. What a cool idea and man did Charlie play the heck out of it!!!

The conductor was also and incredible conductor it looked like. The entire
program was
a incredibly well done. The Saint - Saens Organ Symphony was remarkable.

Maulchay sounded amazing on Bass Trombone.

If you can get to Chicago this coming Tuesday go hear the piece it is well
worth
the journey
