Can anybody tell me who the twin trombone players are in the latest
Christina Aguilera video??
They must be twins! Or at least studied with the same teacher. 'Cuz
they both play left-handed!!
And I'd like to know how they get that old LP needle scratching effect
in their sound. Those boys are tight!
Seriously: does anybody know where the sample of the horns in tune
comes from? I'm trying to find out w/o actually buying the album. (For
obvious reasons.)
It's kinda like how Beyonce Knowles took full credit for writing "Crazy
In Love" without acknowledging that the horns, overall groove and
melody came from the Chi-Lites "Are You My Woman" (1969).
Trombone content: This affects me on every wedding gig/corp event I do
lately as "Crazy In Love" is usually 4th tune, 2nd set. And with the
rise in popularity of Christina's 100% original rip of an early soul
groove, I need to know if there's some special technique I should be
practicing (or do I need to bring a 2nd horn) to play the left-handed
parts on the Aguilera stuff.
Purely in jest! #;-)
Cheers!
