[Trombone-l] Help requested

I would start with having her do exercises on mouthpiece only, and make her
do it in tune. Schlossberg, Remington, that sort of stuff. Sit down with a
piano, and her horn. Play it on the piano, buzz it on the mouthpiece, and
then play it on the horn. Make sure the pitch matches on all three (given
that the piano is in tune), or she can match you instead of the piano, the
point is a neutral pitch reference.
If we buzz the right pitch on the mouthpiece, the right pitch will come out
of the horn. I'm sure you know that, but some things can't be said too
often.
