Maybe. My 1960 Contempora tenor trombone has a receiver opening that measures approximately .495", which is .020" larger than the size noted in Bach's mouthpiece catalog for the receiver size at the proper insertion depth of a tenor trombone small shank mouthpiece. I've always used one wrap of electical tape or a few wraps of teflon tape to get started, then adjust as needed. I've been considering using the aluminum tape that is designed for heating duct sealing, but am not sure how the adhesive will work with the mpc shank. Interestingly, I have an old Roth mouthpiece that *is* the proper size for the Reynolds receiver - too small of a rim/cup for my purposes though. I've never tried a "medium shank" mpc - anyone have the size measurements of the Wick M shank OD?
My 1947 Reynolds Pro tenor has a "standard" receiver size and none of these adjustments are needed. Morse shank bass mpcs wobble a little bit in my 1970 Reynolds bass, but Schilke fit best. Go figure.

I believe that some of the old Reynolds small bore trombones had the
"medium - sized" shank that is found on many euphoniums (old Bessons,
Booseys and some Willsons). Denis Wick makes a few mouthpieces with that
sized shank (they have an "M" in the size - 4AM, 6BM, etc.). Otherwise,
you could order that size shank from Doug Elliott, or custom order it from
many others like Schilke, Black, etc.
The other possibility is to get an adaptor - I occassionally see them for
that size shank on ebay, or again, custom order it from someone. You may
not like how the horn plays with the adaptor as well as you do with a
mouthpiece that fits on it's own, but it's a cheaper fix. The other thing
that you can do is get a good repair guy to turn down the shank on a
mouthpiece that is made to fit a large bore tenor (bass shank) so that it
fits your Reynolds.
Good luck!

Wick 7CS will fit (seats deeper though) but a Conn 3 is too small.
