[Trombone-l] Double Buzz remedies?

I just received this inquiry from a local band director.  I have him  
my answer, but thought this is a topic worthy of discussion.

Double buzz.

How often do you see it?
How does a student fix it?
What causes it?

My first inclination was to suggest the kid switch to drums... the
