[Trombone-l] The Kenton 'bone sound

Just a quick reminder that I chose the three Kenton lead players because they had the greatest continuing effect on Kenton trombone sound. Certainly there were excellent players who preceeded and followed them, but these three molded the sound more than any others. 

For Instance:
Bernhart was influenced by Winding
LeCoque was influenced by Fitz
And while Burgess didn't have a clear predecessor, his 
'style' didn't continue beyond his tenure on the band.

BTW, the three I chose left their mark on the music regardless of the writer. Rugolo sounded different when played by all three of these men. Their styles colored the written notes rather than vice-versa.

And regarding a T-shirt that the Queen will wear; tell her it's a 'torso hat'.
