What is WRONG with you people?

Sam. . . I know this is the nature of your character and I know you care and 
everything. . .but you are starting down the road of PERSONAL INSULT.  Not a 
good place for anybody to go. . .

THIS LIST HAS ALL KINDS OF IDEAS--Just like the Blogs:

Personally. . .
I'm SURE this happened--forget looking for it on the wires, the Times, CNN 
(these are the Worst News sources under the sun).  However, it is OK to 
question the truthfulness of Blogs.  That is part of what makes them 
useful--you have to realize this is data in the midst of being edited and 
filtered.  The idea is that the Blogs compete with each other and the ones 
with the ACCURATE information prosper.

Now, The DAILY KOZ is a very succesful liberal Blog.  It tends to have 
largely accurate information, or it would not be so successful.

My complaint here would be my complaint in general on this kind of thing--it 
is heavily spin doctored:

We're politicizing something that is not directly related to politics.   The 
paranoia does not stem from the Politicians.  It is not paranoia, because it 
is not irrational. . .it stems from HAVING THE WORLD TRADE CENTER 
DESTROYED!!!!!   Terrorism is very, very real and has been on the rise, big 
time.  Eventually, maybe everybody will have some kind of contact with this 
horrible example of how low humanity can sink. . .terror is with us. . .and 
this is not the IRA, or white supremacists or crazy spy agencies. . . .this 
is radical Jihadist stuff. . .[as you will see below. . . .hundreds, if not 
thousands of fabulous books have been written on this. . .read up!]

This thing happened.  As you well know.  Now, you may choose to make these 
things into political issues.  That is your right.  The country is FREE. 
You are not in JAIL.  In some countries, a person as outspoken as you (God 
bless) would have been languishing in jail for YEARS now. . . .but you live 
in the UNITED STATES.    Please try to remember that once in a while.

I'm glad there is an opposition to keep a watch on the other side.  But I 
don't like it when they think they can twist things around to make things 
unlike REALITY.

These guards are FRENCH CITIZENS.  I know the French.  I speak nearly fluent 
French and I talk with French people whenever I can.  They do not like or 
try to imitate the U.S.  They are not influenced by the U.S.  They are 
French and they are damn proud of that.   So be it.  My hat's off to them on 
that.  They have pride in themselves.  I don't agree with some of the 
international assessments. going on.  But then, I read thousands and 
thousands of pages all the time.  Both sides.  I look at the actual websites 
of the government agencies.  I look at videos of real AMERICANS being 
BEHEADED.

I make my own decisions.   I'm an American and I have the same right as a 
Frenchman. . . . .I'm proud of it.

Let's get back to playing TROMBONE.  We all agree on that, don't we?  It's 
for a good reason that your Mommy and Daddy tell you "Don't discuss Religion 
or Politics. . .in polite conversation. . . .leave that for the right 
occasion. . ."

ADVICE--EVEN IF, it is a brass player in the subject. . .Don't post 
POLITICAL BLOG stuff here!   I read tons of this stuff, but I have never, 
ever posted a political blog item on this list.

This gets some so aroused that we decend into really bad episodes. . 
.believe me. . .I've been here for more than twelve years. . . .I've seen 
trolls. . .I've seen rants go on and on . . .I've decided I know whether to 
use Slide-O-Mix or cold cream or whatever.

My best wishes to Valery for a speedy recovery.  And I hope he will always 
be well.
