As far as "conspiracy" is concerned...read the article again.

All it is saying is that the sad state of freedom in BushAmerica has 
infected the whole world.

No economic imperialism...no 9/11.

No 9/11...no raised security at airports.

No raised security at airports...no problem bringing a trumpet case 
that most CERTAINLY fits in the overheads and was cabin checked 
already (complete with little tag) onto an airplane.

No problem bringing a trumpet case onto an airplane...no Ponomarev broken arm.

Duh.

  I'm gonna go out on a limb and call it BS, mainly because a search
of cnn.com for +"Valery Ponomarev" +"broken arm" gets no results at all.  A
similar search for +"Valery Ponomarev" also gets on ads.

          After reading the article, it sounds almost like something from
the National Enquirer.
