Play louder. It doesn't cost anything and you won't hear the clunky noise.
I'm glad I could be so helpful.

Subject: [Trombone-l] Fix for noisy Bach linkage?
A buddy of mine has an older Bach 42B with the Bach ball linkage - not
mini-balls, but the older "clunky" one. I seem to remember that Todd
Clontz used to market a retrofit kit, but I can't find it anymore.
Does anyone know of a low-budget fix for this? Having a mini-ball
conversion isn't an option for him right now.
Thanks,
Chris
