[Trombone-l] airy sound

This is going to sound stupid, but it works.

I wouldn't do it myself, mind you -- but if you suspect a leak --  
well, it's up to you...

Light up a cigarette and blow the smoke into the instrument.  Ugh, I  
know.
But if there is a leak, the smoke will come out where it shouldn't --  
where the leak is.

Better than that, however, might be to get a strong flashlight --  
turn off the lights, and shine the light through the instrument.

Yeah, I know -- I'm just full of it.
