Julie...
After making sure that your equipment is not
damaged in some way...leaks, badly aligned valve,
etc...
Please go back to EXACTLY what you were doing before this started.
Same mouthpiece, same horn, same warmups, same schedule, no euphonium.
Do NOT give in to depression. It will take as
long as three weeks for you to come out of this.
Maybe longer.
Do not give up, and DO NOT CHANGE BACK TO
WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING NOW UNTIL YOU ARE PLAYING
AS WELL AS YOU WERE BEFORE.
And then be VERY careful.
You lost your embouchure setting, your balance,
your air support...any combination of those
things.
Unless you have had the VERY rare occurrence of
some sort of neurological problem...one in a
million, in my estimation...you will recover.
Unless you panic.
