Thanks for posting this video, Bill. I recognize the trumpet player as Chico
Alvarez and Red Dorris was the tenor soloist in these early days as well as
Bob Gioga on baritone. Was that Howard Rumsey on bass?
The video seems to give the impression that Stan recorded for RCA Victor in
those early days. I know about the Decca recordings made in 1941 and 1942.
It was in 1942 or 1943 that Kenton signed with the fledgling Capitol
Records.
