[Trombone-l] Conn 40H - How would it compare to a 5H?

I had a 40H for a little while. It has a big huge sound for a .500 bore
with a small bell. Huge like lots of it, not necessarily a wide sound. The
slide will probably feel very heavy compared to your 5H. It didn't bother
me, but a friend who payed it said "I love the sound, but couldn't hang with
the slide."
