[Trombone-l] The Scam Continues

Interesting.  I received just such a letter as described on the scam  
website.
But I didn't bite.

I simply don't have time to teach high school kids.  Besides, that's  
what I do most every day.  The last thing I want to do is to teach  
unmotivated high schoolers...

That said -- I will and do teach the motivated ones.  But I never  
charge them.  I do it rarely.  When I teach someone, it's because I  
WANT to.  It's fun for me to hear a kid who is obviously working.   
Not so fun when the mom or dad wants the lessons.

So I balked and turned this guy down.

Interesting scam, though.
Very interesting.
