One of the websites I visit had a pointer to a laser turntable. Yes, that's
right. The needle has been replaced by a couple of lasers. It can play your
records without harming them in the least. According to the specifications,
you to vary the speed of this belt driven beauty from 30 to 90 rpm. Which
means that you can play your early Teagarden, Jimmy Harrison, and Miff Mile
without damage.
It's a bit pricey but, hey, you can at least have the dream of owning one.
The price is $15,000.
