Many years ago, I saw a Bill Pearce LP, I think it may have been titled
"Nightsounds," very cheap at a Christian bookstore, and bought it
immediately, because I had heard of him and played some of the charts,
but had never heard him play. I expectantly put it on the turntable to
give it a listen: Bill starts talking and talking, and then, finally,
the music! He starts, uhh, singing. And thats all - no trombone on the
disc whatsoever. It was then I realized that the LP jacket didn't
really SAY anything about trombone on it anywhere. Duh.

Bill Pearce's voice? Well, it's OK, but it's his RANGE - it starts on
low G and goes up for, well, an octave...

>He still has a radio program called Nightsounds. I bought a couple of CDs from the ministry. The only downside is that you'll be on the mailing list forever. I have no idea what radio stations carry it, because I have no intention of being up listening to the radio at the time it's on. Someone on the list will know some contact information. Of course, if you're a night owl and actually decide to listen to the program, you may be more interested in the mailings than I am.
