I didn't mean to step on any toes, Robert, and my comments were general
in nature. Of course, there is a LOT of quality work being published.
Small and large publishers.
And that's a good thing. The market dictates what is published, I
would agree. My point, not very well written I might add, is that we
should push our student toward greatness.
Guide them along with great music. That doesn't necessarily translate
to giving them the most challenging and demanding music all the time,
either. There is a LOT of beautiful music available. Make smart
choices.
