Yeah, I have a hard time imagining the hot-arranger pickup conversation:

"You play in the band?"
"Yes, I play trombone. But I also write for the band."
"You're a WRITER?!? That's so much sexier than playing the saxophone
or the trumpet!  Will you take me back to your hotel room?"

Not gonna happen.
